Unlike CMSimple_XH itself, many plugins are provided under specific terms of use or license conditions.

Many authors of plugins provides theirs plugins under a Linkware License. The plugin can be used free of charge, as long as you link to the author clearly visible in the front- or backend. If you want to remove that links, you have to purchase a Remove Link License.

But there are also some plugins provided under a Commercial License. That means in most cases:

  • Free of charge under Linkware License, for private sites, schools and non-profit associations
  • Small fee required under Remove Link License, for private sites, schools and non-profit associations
  • But for commercial websites you have to purchase a Commercial License

Quality-Standards

All the downloads published or linked on this WIKI have to satisfy our quality-standards.

Encoding

Since version 1.2 CMSimple_XH is utf-8 encoded. All components for CMSimple_XH have to be utf-8 encoded (utf-8 without BOM) or working without problems in utf-8 encoded installations.

Webstandards

All components for CMSimple_XH, plugins, templates and others have to validate for html 4.01 transitional, xhtml 1.0 transitional or both. They have to be marked according the used markup-language:

  • H for html 4.01 transitional
  • X for xhtml 1.0 transitional
  • XH for plugins, templates or others, that will validate in both markup-languages.

Examples:

  • my_plugin_XH.zip
  • my_template_H.zip
  • my_addon_X.zip
